Chelsea Football Club and Manchester United have made enquiries about Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma in recent hours, though no concrete offers have been submitted so far, according to Fabrice Hawkins.

Donnarumma is absent from PSG’s squad for the UEFA Super Cup clash against Tottenham, signaling that he is not in the club’s plans for the upcoming season.

The arrival of Lucas Chevalier from Lille for €55 million (including bonuses) has clearly established the French keeper as PSG’s first-choice goalkeeper under manager Luis Enrique.

Sources close to the player have indicated that he will only consider leaving if an appealing project presents itself.

Chelsea and Manchester United have expressed interest in the Italian shot-stopper, but negotiations have yet to progress to formal offers.
