AFCON 2025 Knockout Qualification Stages
- There are 24 teams in the tournament divided into 6 groups of 4 teams each.
- From the group stage:
🔹 The top 2 teams in each group automatically move to the Round of 16 → that’s 12 teams.
🔹 The best 4 third-placed teams across the groups also qualify → adding 4 more teams.
➡️ So in total, 16 teams will advance to the next round (Round of 16).

🏆 Egypt – confirmed qualified.
🇳🇬 Nigeria – also confirmed qualified.
